Women Empowerment Projects in Ghana

Welcome to CoDA’s Women Empowerment Projects in Ghana, where we are deeply committed to fostering economic independence and empowerment among women. Our initiatives are specifically tailored to provide employment opportunities and skill development programs, empowering women to become self-sufficient contributors to their communities.

Empowering Women Through Economic Opportunities

At CoDA (Community Development Action), we recognize the pivotal role that women play in driving social and economic progress. Our women empowerment projects in Ghana are meticulously designed to provide women with the skills and resources they need to succeed in the workforce and achieve financial independence.

Our Women Empowerment Initiatives

  1. Artisan Basket Making: Through our artisan basket making project, we empower women in rural communities by providing them with training and employment opportunities. These women learn traditional crafting techniques and create high-quality baskets that are sold locally and internationally, generating sustainable income for themselves and their families.
  2. Shea Butter Production: CoDA’s shea butter production project offers women the opportunity to participate in every stage of the production process, from harvesting shea nuts to processing and packaging the final product. Shea butter is a valuable commodity with diverse uses in cosmetics and skincare, providing women with a lucrative source of income and economic stability.
